- Description
- This is a Total Small Business Set Aside requirement for the remanufacture/upgrade of the F-15 Regulating Valve. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the remanufacture, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the F-15 Regulating Valve. A firm fixed price, three year requirements type effort (consisting of a one-year basic period and two, one-year options) is contemplated. The item and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Remanufacture/upgrade NSN 4820-01-068-1105 RK, P/N: 27041129-06B Noun: Regulating Valve; Applicable to F-15 aircraft; Quantity: Basic Year, BEQ 18 each; Option I, BEQ 18 each; Option II, BEQ 18 each. Item 0002: Over and Above Work. Item 0003: Data, not separately priced IAW DD 1423. Deliveries are to be 3 each per month 30 days after receipt of order and assets. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 14 April 2014. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. APPROVED SOURCES are: Rogerson, Aero Kool, Turbine Fuel Systems, Texas Aerospace, Thomas Instruments, Airtronics Inc., Meggitt, Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation, Mountain Aircraft Services, and Accessories Technology Corp. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
