Description

THIS IS A TOTAL 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET-ASIDE. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Fargo Health Care System, Fargo, North Dakota intends to issue an Invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract to provide all labor, material, equipment, and supervision in accordance with the plans and specifications to include, but not be limited to providing all the materials, equipment, etc. necessary to completely construct Fargo VA Health Care System project 437-14-115, Site prep for SPECT CT Room 1B-62 in accordance with this Scope of Work, the contract documents, all applicable federal, state and local codes and NFPA. Work shall include, but shall not be limited to removing the existing gamma camera, room finishes and other items as noted on the contract documents. Once the removals are complete, the room shall be reconstructed for the installation of a new SPECT CT. Work shall involve carpentry, sprinklers, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and others as required to completely refinish and prepare the room for the new equipment. The contractor shall also assist the factory installation personnel in making all necessary final connections to the equipment. Work is to be completed within 180 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Specifications and Drawings for submitting a bid will be available at (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). All respondents must be registered in the SAMs database (http://www.sam.gov) and complete online Representations and Certifications at (http://orca.bpn.gov), along with Vets 100 at (http://vets.dol.gov/vets100/). Bidders must be registered in VetBiz at (http://www.vetbiz.gov/). Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). All parties must obtain amendments to the solicitation through this web site. Hard copies will not be mailed. Interested parties must go to the web site to be entered on the Interested Vendors List and/or to obtain copies of the Interested Vendors List. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to angelique.mabley@va.gov. Issue Date is tentatively scheduled for April 29, 2014. The Pre-bid meeting/Site-visit will be announced upon Solicitation issuance. Bid Opening Date is tentatively scheduled for May 29, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. (CST-local time), on 3rd Floor, Room 310 at West Park, 5435 NW 100th Street, Johnston, IA 50131 but exact date may vary depending on issuance of the solicitation. The applicable NAICS Code is 236220, with the applicable size standard being $33 million. Magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. THIS IS A TOTAL 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET-ASIDE.
