- MARKET RESEARCH/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of vendors capable of providing ion exchange waste water treatment services for Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, Jacksonville, FL in accordance with the draft statement of work. The anticipated period will be for 12 months starting no later than 1 August 2014. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. It is anticipated that a combined synopsis solicitation will be issued in the late April 2014 time frame. Interested vendors are requested to submit a capability statement outlining their ability to meet or exceed this potential requirement no later than 4:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time), 21 April 2014, stating their business size, as well as a point of contact. The government will use the results of this announcement to determine whether the acquisition of the above described requirement should be solicited as a small business set-aside, or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. The Government will not pay or provide reimbursement for any cost incurred in the preparation or delivery of the request for information. Interested parties should send all capability statements via email to Michael.e.jolley@navy.mil. Hard copy submissions are not required or desired.
