- SUBJECT: Pre-solicitation notice for Fire Department Equipment for Caserma Ederle, Vicenza, Italy To whom it may concern, The United States Government, through the Regional Contracting Office Vicenza, intends to award a contract for the subject indicated above. The purpose of this Synopsis is to publicize the upcoming contract action. TITLE OF THE PROJECT: Provide fire department equipment for Caserma Ederle, Vicenza, Italy. DESCRIPTION: 0001 Bowring Tool Quantity = 75 The Bowring firefighting tool is 8.1 inches tall, 5.9 inches wide,.375 inches thick, and weighs 22 ounces, so it easily fits into a firefighters bunker pants. It is made of 17-4 steel and incredibly strong with no plastic or moving parts. 0002 Flat Dry Hanger Quanitity = 75 With 1 quote mark drop to accommmodate coat and bunker pants. 0003 Mobile Hose Drier Quantity = 3 Holds 1200 of 1 1/2 or 1 3/4 or up to 800 of 2 1/2 or 3 double jacketed hose. Dimensions: 80 quote mark L x 33.5 W x 88 quote mark H. 0004 5.11 Taclite Pro Shorts Quantity 75 Tough, lightweight, breathable 6.14-oz., 65% polyester/35% cotton ripstop; Fade and wrinkle-resistant; Teflon treated for stain, liquid and soil resistance; Signature rear strap and slash pocket design; Action waist and a gusseted crotch for enhanced movement; Double-reinforced seat; Double and triple-needle stitching; Bartacks in high-stress areas; Quick-access multipurpose pocket; Genuine YKK zippers, Prym snaps.
