- This is a Request for Information (RFI). The Regional Contracting Office for the 414th CSB in Vicenza, Italy will use the responses to this RFI to determine potential responsible vendors capable of providing the supplies described herein. The US Government is not obligated and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this Request for Information. BACKGROUND: The purpose of this acquisition is to provide different kind of supplies within the US Army installations located in Vicenza, Italy. REQUIREMENTS: The U.S. Government is looking for local sources located in Italy that will be able to provide a range of supplies necessary to satisfy the Government's requirements. In order to guarantee the best service in terms of responsiveness, the vendor will have to respond within two (2) work days from the date of a call. The Government is contemplating the establishment of four (4) Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). Each BPA will have a four (4) year ordering duration beginning on its date of establishment. Each call estimated to exceed the amount of $3,000.00 will be competed amongst the parties on the four (4) BPAs. In order to deem the vendors' responsible, the package shall include the following documentation: 1.Certificato Camera di Commercio (Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce), NOT older than six (6) months at the time set forth for the receipt of the Request for Information inquiry. Self-certifications are NOT allowed. 2.SAM Registration. In order to register on SAM website (https://www.sam.gov ), vendors must have a DUNS number ( obtainable on http://dbitaly.dnb.com ) and a NATO code (obtainable www.dlis.dla.mil/forms/form_AC135.asp). The capability statement package must be sent by email to Francesca Candia, francesca.candia.ln@mail.mil. Submissions must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. Central European Time (CET) on 02 May 2014.
