Description

The Naval Supply Systems (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) Contracting Office intends to make a sole source award on behalf of the Fleet Readiness Center West (FRCW (NAS Lemoore)) to Designed Metal Connections, Inc. DBA Permaswage, 14800 South Figueroa Street, Gardena, CA 90248-1719. The anticipated purchase order is for one (1) Permaswage swaging tool kit (Model Number DLTFRPSKT-302) that has the line sizes required (sizes 10 and 16) to complete the requiring activity ™s capability in support of F/A-18A-G and MH-60 aircraft. The parts are proprietary to Permaswage, a large business. Permaswage is the only patent holder. It is anticipated that this procurement will be conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106(b) and that this procurement action will be issued on a sole source basis. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The applicable CAGE code is 14798 and DUNS code is 172182482. The NAICS code is 333991 and the applicable business size is 500 employees. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining the viability of conducting a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. Interested parties shall submit information that demonstrates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses are due on or before 21 April 2014 4 PM PST, to the assigned Contract Specialist, Adrian A. Porras, via electronic mail at Adrian.Porras@navy.mil. For further information or questions specific to this procurement, please contact the assigned Contract Specialist via electronic mail as no requests over telephone will be entertained. Requests shall include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, fax number, county, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. If no responses are received, NAVSUP FLCSD will proceed with the sole source award.
