Description
SOURCES SOUGHT FOR JOINT TASK FORCE - NORTH LOGISTICAL SUPPORT OF ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT, LIFE SUPPORT SERVICES (LODGING, MEALS, DINING ROOM, ICE, LAUNDRY), FUEL AND FUEL TANK THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The solicitation number for this notice is W9124J-14-R-0018. This notice is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine the potential firms capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. Feedback is encouraged and appreciated. Mission Installation Contracting Command - Fort Sam Houston (MICC-FSH) is seeking information on sources to determine capability to provide coordination and logistical support for The Joint Task Force - North (JTF-N), to include: rental of engineering construction equipment, vehicles, and maintenance; life support services (lodging, meals, dining room area, ice and laundry); and No. 2 Clear Diesel Fuel and Fuel tank. JTF-N supports our nations' federal law enforcement agencies in the identification and interdiction of suspected transnational threats within and along the approaches to the continental United States. This requirement will include all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to perform rental of engineering construction equipment, vehicles, and maintenance; life support services (lodging, meals, dining room area, ice and laundry); and No. 2 Clear Diesel Fuel and Fuel tank, along the Southern Borders in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California between the United States and Mexico. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) contemplated for this requirement is 532412, Construction, Mining and Forestry Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing, with a size standard of $30M. However, respondents may identify other potential NAICS codes and the reasoning to support the recommendation. This requirement is a follow-on requirement to multiple contracts, to include: W9124J-14-F-0005, a direct award under the GSA Federal Supply Schedule to Hertz Equipment Rental Corp; W9124J-14-P-0007, a small business set-aside to Merrimac Petroleum; W9124J-14-P-0010, a small business set-aside to U.S. Military Corp; W9124J-14-P-0024, a small business set-aside to Estes Equipment Co.; W9124J-14-C-0014, a small business set-aside to Heritage Hotels & Resorts, Inc.; and W9124J-14-C-0022, a small business set-aside to RGC Hospitality, LLC. Since the current capabilities of industry, to include large and small businesses must be confirmed, all eligible large and small businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this source sought notice. Respondents WILL NOT be notified of the results of this sources sought survey. If and when a solicitation is issued, it will be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the respondent's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any synopsis or solicitation. INFORMATION REQUESTED TO BE SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT: Interested sources shall complete the attached market research questionnaire. It is requested that interested businesses submit to the contracting office the completed market research questionnaire (no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, 12-point font minimum).
