Description

SOURCES SOUGHT: Request for Capable Offerors The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office is seeking information from potential offerors who can provide Wheelchair Van/Special Modes Transportation services to those veterans not requiring hospitalization. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. It is the intent of the Contracting Office to use this for market research purposes to ascertain how this requirement will be competed. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office is seeking potential sources. The Government anticipates issuing a commercial Request for Quote (RFQ) for Wheelchair Van/Special Modes Transportation Services in support of the Hampton VA Medical Center. This proposed contract is being considered for a set-aside for small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement 485991- Special Needs Transportation Ambulance Services, business size is $14.0M. Respondents must be registered in SAM, eligible to obtain a contract to provide Wheelchair Van/Special Modes Transportation for the Federal Government, and able to meet specifications required in the Draft Performance Work Statement (attached). CAPABILITIES STATEMENT: Interested parties must submit a Capabilities Statement, Not-to-Exceed 5 pages (8.5 1 11 typed), to include flyers.
