- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), on behalf of the Program Executive Office - Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO- C4I), Shore and Expeditionary Integration Program Office (PMW 790), intends to issue Request of Proposal (RFP) number N00039- 14-R-0217 for the commercial item acquisition of ADP Support Equipment. Source selection evaluation criteria will be per FAR 11.104 and 15.101-2. The salient physical, functional or performance characteristics of the brand name item that an "equal" item must meet to be acceptable for award and related bill of materials are as attached hereto. The Government anticipates issuing a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside competitive solicitation per FAR 19.1405 without further notice in the May 2014 timeframe. The solicitation, along with any amendments issued, will be available to interested parties solely on the SPAWAR e-Commerce Central Website (https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil/). Contract award is estimated for July 2014, with delivery of all units required in October 2014. Any projected proposal due dates/times in this synopsis and any subsequent updates are estimates only; the actual proposal due date/time will be established in the final solicitation.
