- Description
- The Army Contracting Command - Redstone proposes to issue solicitation number W58RGZ-14-T-0110. This requirement is for the manufacture of 23 28V DC power supplies, model number Q-APCC-IN18/36PO360/24R, part number P50111201. THE DC power supply is required to cleanse spike from aircraft power which share a wiring bundle on the Air Soldier electro-textile harness and supplies primary power for the heater vest worn by the user. This requirement is planned as a sole source buy to Power Innovations Int'l (CAGE Code 3Z7N9) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The period of performance is from the date of award through 90 days. The proposed solicitation issue date is 16 April 2014 with a closing date of 30 April 2014 at 1200. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Telephone request for copies of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be accepted. All requests must be in writing. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source; however, if you are interested in this requirement you may identify your interest by submitting a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for additional competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five (45) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to further compete this proposed contract based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
