- Government Furnished Property Report Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial repair services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-14-Q-1619. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. This is unrestricted. NAICS Code: 335999. Size standard is 500 employees. NUWC Division Newport intends to procure repair/refurbishment services for four Instruments Inc. Model S11-48 Power Amplifiers. The amplifiers are 48KW Class D (PWM) switching amplifiers weighing 1865 LBS. The amplifiers need to be completely disassembled and all components and sub components tested and evaluated for optimal operational performance in accordance with S11-48 Operation and Technical Manual. Amplifiers shall then be appropriately crated for safe transport and shipment back to Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Seneca Lake facility. Required delivery is 6 months after receipt of order or sooner. F.O.B. Destination to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Seneca Lake facility, Dresden, NY. It is expected to place a Firm Fixed Price contract with Instruments Inc. They are the only known source for this service because they are the original equipment manufacturer and only vendor for repair/refurbishment on these amplifiers because they hold the proprietary and patented data and components to successfully repair/refurbish the amplifiers. All other timely offers will be considered. Offers for other vendors must contain complete service information and prices. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important.
