- This is a Sources Sought: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) is requesting responses from qualified businesses capable of providing Ultrasonic Scalers for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, or request for proposals. This Sources Sought effort is intended to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and solicit feedback for acquisition planning purposes. Potential vendors are encouraged to submit a non-binding statement of interest and the requested documentation demonstrating their corporate capabilities. Responses to this Sources Sought are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. The applicable qualifying NAICS code for this effort is 339114 Dental Equipment and Supplies Manufacturing. Small Business manufactures for the specified NAICS code has a size standard of 500 employees. The SAC is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify qualified contractors with the capability and the resources to provide Ultrasonic Scaler to be used by dentist throughout the VA enterprise wide (i.e. VA facilities in the U.S., U.S. Territories, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines).
