Description

NOTE: This is NOT a request for quotation. This is a MODIFICATION to a previously issued sources sought notice under RFQ VA528-14-Q-0158. The original sources sought and modification is issued for market research purposes only. The VA Western New York Healthcare System (VAWNYHS), Buffalo, NY is seeking a small business program to provide all labor, (including programming), materials and supervision to remove a Rauland Responder code blue nurse call and intercom system and replace with a Rauland Responder V Series code blue nurse call and intercom system. The VA intends to include the brand name 'Rauland Responder V Series' in the solicitation when released. A justification for the brand name will be included in the solicitation once a sourcing strategy is established. See attached drawing and Specification Section 01 00 00 for further description of work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210 with a standard size of $14.0 Million. The construction estimate for this procurement is between $25,000. and $100,000. The following small business programs are requested to respond to the Government if you are interested and can meet the requirements outlined herein: 1. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), 2. Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), 3. Historically-Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) 4. Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), 5. Small Business. At least 25 percent of the cost of the contract performance incurred for personnel must be spent on the concern's employees or the employees of the same small business program in which your company represents. Interested parties who can meet the requirements herein must respond to Rosanne.Raczkowski@va.gov no later than 12:00PM EST on April 24, 2014. Include 'SOURCES SOUGHT RESPONSE' in the subject line of your e-mail. Indicate in your response which small business program your party represents and demonstrate how you will meet 25% performance requirement outlined herein. SDVOSB and VOSB must be certified in vip.vetbiz.gov to receive to be eligible for award after the solicitation is issued. All interested parties must be registered in www.sam.gov. Provide your DUNS number in the e-mail response.
