Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for daycare services, in support of New Jersey National Guard Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the Request for Quote included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W912KN-14-T-0416, is being issued as a request for quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-72. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and transportation to provide daycare services to the New Jersey National Guard, in Atlantic City, New Jersey at the Trump Taj Mahal as specified in the Statement of Work. 2. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items apply. Only one quote per offeror will be considered. This is a competitive RFQ. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the request for quote will be most advantageous to the Government. An evaluation of the price and activities included in the offer will be conducted to determine which offer is most advantageous. The Contracting Officer will evaluate offers based on information furnished by the offeror or identified in the quote and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the quote. The Government reserves the right to make no award pursuant to this RFQ. 3. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer e-mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer) whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. 4. The Federal Government is tax exempt. 5. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services, For a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a Child Care provider, the offeror must describe in its proposal the technical approach for the offeror's services as a prime contractor and must also include a copy of all insurance (s) (standard business, liability, extraordinary insurances) in order to submit a complete technical proposal for evaluation purposes. (Again, this is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. An offer which requires the Government to Execute a separate agreement with a third party shall be deemed technically unacceptable). 6.
