Description
The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) in support of U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed om FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i) with Mettler Toledo, 1900 Polaris Parkway, Columbus, Ohio 43240-4035, for the procurement of the following items: Analytical Balance item QD205DR Q2 Powder Dosing Unit Ionizing kit QB system Converter Netcom Ex-6034 Option Ethernet Adapter ErgoClips Quantos QB systems Vial Adapter D10.3mm Vial Adapter D12mm Powder dosing head - 10pcs Transport box QH012 heads, 10pcs Software LabX direct QuantosConnect CD Side door conductive, 2 each The Mettler Toledo Quantos QD205DR automated powder weighing/dispensing system is an essential tool for the recently established USAMRICD Absorption Distribution Metabolism Excretion (ADME) Center of Excellence (CoE). This item will be utilized to manage the drug repository maintained by the CoE. Compatibility with the current system in terms of the radio-frequency identification (RFID) chip reader and hardware is essential. Due to sharing the same system components each will read the RFID chip and avoid conflicts if two systems of different brand are attempted to be utilized together. Additionally, the purchase if this item will facilitate sharing of consumable supplies, user serviceable parts and other pooled resources. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 333997 and the size standard is 500 employees. This announcement constitutes the only notice by the government; a written solicitation will not be issued. All sources that believe they are eligible to provide these items must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide the items outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered an affirmative response. This Special Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. If no written responses are received by the date listed below, which reflects fifteen (15) days after the publication of this notice, the purchase will be awarded without further remark.
