Notice: Sources Sought for VAV Boxes Posting Date: 17 March 2014 to FedBizOps Website Response Date: 1 May 2014 NAICS Code: 334512 This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a request for quote (RFQ) or a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the United States Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary and retained. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses relative to NAICS code 334512. Small Businesses are invited to provide their supporting information in accordance with the item description noted. It is the Government's opportunity to encourage new businesses to participate in upcoming contracting actions and exchange information. The Government is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide *VAV Boxes in support of the operational requirements of the Miami VA. The requested items are specified below: Item 1 Nailor M/N 35SE VAV Box, 8 inch, or its equivalent, w/ electric controls, 3kw heat, 277v/24v transformer, single duct terminal unit, analog controls, pressure independent, variable or constant volume, 24 volt actuator, capacity: 60-350 cfms Approximate dimensions: 8" - 14" wide, 6" high, 16" long Item 2 Nailor M/N 35S VAV Box, 6 inch, or its equivalent, w/ electric controls, Cooling Only, single duct terminal unit, analog controls, pressure independent, variable or constant volume, 24 volt actuator, capacity: 60-350 cfms Approximate dimensions: 8" - 14" wide, 6" high, 16" long Item 3 Nailor M/N 35S VAV Box, 8 inch, or its equivalent, w/ electric controls, Cooling Only, single duct terminal unit, analog controls, pressure independent, variable or constant volume, 24 volt actuator, capacity: 60-350 cfms Approximate dimensions: 8" - 14" wide, 6" high, 16" long "VAV (Variable Air Volume) Required Information: Any interested party shall send an email containing your company name, company representative, contact phone number, preferred email address to receive correspondence, Where to send responses: To Robert Gamble, Robert.Gamble@va.gov with a "cc" to Richard Skinner, richard.skinner@va.gov Response deadline: 1 May 2014
