- This Presolicitation Notice is being posted in advance of Solicitation number M67854-14-R-5502. The forthcoming solicitation will be issued as a request for proposal on a full and open competition basis. The solicitation will be published to the Government Point of Entry and is anticipated to be issued within the next sixty (60) days at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at the following address: https://www.fbo.gov. Information contained in this notice is subject to change. This notice is for information purposes only, and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposals, a Solicitation, or a Request for Quotes. The Program Executive Officer Land Systems (PEO LS), Marine Corps System Command (MARCORSYSCOM) has a requirement for Field Service Representatives (FSRs) and Instructors to serve as Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Family of Vehicle (FoV) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for maintenance, On-the-Job Training (OJT), and Instruction. The FSRs shall be qualified and skilled in instructions, vehicle operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, welding, repair process, Government Furnished Property (GFP), Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), warranty actions, logistics support functions required to support the MRAP FoV, and assist in the collection of operator (Crew) and intermediate (Field) level maintenance and vehicle usage data. In order to be eligible for award, interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database in order to receive attachments. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/contractors.aspx RFP will be in Microsoft Word format. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Interested sources must download all solicitation documents from the website listed. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FBO at the same time the solicitation is posted. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FBO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FBO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
