Description
Solicitation/PWS/Schedule The Park Attendants shall be camping couples (two adults with no minor children) to serve as live-in park attendants. No persons other than the two adults required shall live with the attendants. The attendants shall provide and reside in a self-contained camper or camping motor home and live in the park during their work assignment. Park Attendants are required to operate a computer system, linked to a contracted national reservation service; the National Recreation Reservation Service (NRRS). It is possible that modifications in the operation of the software and/or sales channels may be necessary as the national reservation service contract changes. Skills and abilities needed include operating a Windows based computer program, record keeping, dealing with the public and an understanding of quality customer service to the recreating public, Corps staff and service contractor personnel. The attendants will receive an orientation of Corps regulations, operating procedures, computer operation and fee collecting instructions. Attendants shall be responsible for performing the work in accordance with applicable regulations, procedures, and instructions. The contract will be on a per day basis with four (4) work days per week. The Park Attendants must be bonded and are required to furnish to the Resource Manager proof of such bond in the minimum amount of $5,000.00. The Contractor will not begin work until proof of such bond is furnished. The Park Attendant has the option, in lieu of furnishing a surety bond, of: 1) Depositing certain United States bonds or notes in amount equal, at their par value, to the penal sum of the bond, or 2) Furnishing a certified cashier's check, bank draft, postal money order, or currency in the amount equal to the penal sum of the bond, or 3) Furnishing an irrevocable, unconditional letter of credit. The Campground Registration center shall be open and staffed with at least one person according to the hourly schedule provided in the Performance Work Statement of the solicitation, with the exception of weeks with holiday work as shown. These hours are the minimum, core hours of operation. Any changes to this schedule must be approved by the government. The Resource Manager may change the schedule provided the total number of hours per week remains the same.
