- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia intends to extend the ordering period of Contracts N65540-09-D-0026; N65540-09-D-0029; N65540-09-D-0030; N65540-09-D-0031; N65540-09-D-0032; N65540-09-D-0033 to 03 December 2014. The purpose of this modification is to allow for continued support until the follow-on contract is awarded. All other terms and conditions of the existing contract remain unchanged. The modification to the existing contract will utilize other than full and open competition under authority of U.S.C 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, supplies or services available from only one responsible source and no other type of supply will satisfy agency requirements. Any response to this synopsis should be sent to the attention of Camille Mesquita and reference Multiple Award Contracts under the "Big Blue" Program. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received within 14 days after date of the publication of the synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
