- The Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a contract to Parker-Hannifin Corporation, DBA: Customer Support Military Division, 14300 Alton Pkwy irvine CA 92618-1814 (Cage Code: 59211) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, located at MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for various V-22 Suction Lift Pump specific tools for use in maintenance and repairs of the said pump. Market research has determined that Parker-Hannifin Corporation is the only source capable of providing the required equipment as they are the sole designers, developers, and integrators of the V-22 Suction Lift Pump and related components. The technical data and manufacturing processes required for manufacture of the specific tools were developed by Parker-Hannifin Corporation. Therefore, the government intends to procure these required products on a sole source basis from Parker-Hannifin Corporation, Customer Support Miltary Division. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Point of contact for this requirement is James M.
