- This project is set-aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Businesses. The NAICS code for this project is 237110. The small business size standard is no greater than $33.5 million in average annual receipts over the past three years. Only offers from firms that are certified to meet both HUBZone status and the size standard will be considered. You may contact your local U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) office (federal, not state office) for more information on the HUBZone program. Your local SBA office's contact information may be found by accessing the SBA website (www.sba.gov). Replace and Repair components of Campground water systems in Yuba and Sierra counties to comply with CDPH water regulations. The work in each campground is listed below: Chapman Campground: Drill, develop and pump test a new well at Chapman Creek Campground in Sierra County to comply with CDPH water regulations. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, permits and testing required for drilling a new well at Chapman Campground. Well siting shall be within the campground boundaries and submitted to the Forest Service for approval. Optional Bid Items shall include: • Pitless adapter, sample tap, emergency chlorination tap • Submersible AC/DC pump with pipe • Pump house • Power drop and pump management service panel Bullards Bar Campgrounds Water Meter installation: The contractor shall install 3 master meter vaults at the service laterals to Schoolhouse, Hornswoggle and Dark Day day-use & campgrounds in the Bullards Bar recreation area located off of Marysville-Dobbins road in Yuba County. The main service laterals range from 3" to 2" pipe and may be ACP, galvanized steel, PVC or HDPE. Each master meter will have a valved service bypass installed and isolation valves on either side of the meter. The meters shall be compound, with both low and high flow capability and shall work at operating pressures of up to 150 PSI. Vaults shall be a minimum of 3' x 5' precast concrete traffic rated structures. Bullards Bar Campgrounds are within Yuba County along Marysville Road and Highway 49 North. Chapman Campground is approximately 2 miles past Bassets on Highway 49 North in Sierra County. The contract time is estimated at 38 days. The Government's estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. The request for quotes package will be uploaded when ready, approximately May 1, 2014. The date of award is expected to be within 14 calendar days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments. The purpose of this notice is to meet the FAR 5.201 and 36.213-2 requirements. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for amendments.
