- DLA Aviation Richmond intends to procure multiple sole source, part numbered items from Sikorsky Aircraft (CAGE 78286). This is a notification that a letter request for proposal (RFP) will be issued to add sole source NSNs which include multiple Weapon System Description Code (WSDCs). These NSNs will be added to the Sikorsky Corporate Contract-SPM4AX12D9402. DLA Aviation Richmond does not currently have an approved technical data package available for these NSNs. It is the Government's intent to use a letter solicitation format to the sole source Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM); therefore, if any non-OEM source is interested in any of the NSNs, please notify the Contracting Officer prior to synopsis closing date. Some NSNs are critical application items/critical safety items which will be addressed in the Letter RFP. Surplus dealers and small business dealers and distributors having existing stocks of surplus or newly manufactured material are invited to respond to this synopsis. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material, or adequate traceability documentation to show product is acceptable. In addition, respondents should identify quantity available and price. DLA will consider all such responses and may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interests of the government.
