- This Statement of Work (SOW #4PW024) defines the effort required for the replacement of the roof at Building 40-6 at the Watervliet Arsenal. The existing roof is shingle roof and is leaking in multiple areas. Once the old roofing is removed a new TPO roof will be installed. This SOW includes the associated project management, code and regulation compliance, and quality assurance requirements. We anticipate this contract will have an option for an unfunded roof replacement project at B126. Quantity: Anticipate this contract will have an option for an unfunded roof project at B126. Unit of Issue: 1 lot Delivery: Project completion 60 calendar days from notice to proceed Estimated issue date of solicitation: May 9, 2014 INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING NOTES AS APPLICABLE: SAM Notice: Recommend including the following to bring it to any potential offeror's attention that registration in SAM (System for Award Management) is necessary and may reduce time to award if a vendor isn't registered or registration isn't current. quote mark In order to be eligible for award, the successful offeror's System for Award Management (SAM) Registration must be active and include representations and certifications. quote mark quote mark The project intends to follow the sustainable acquisition principles of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 23, as applicable. quote mark Construction: Synopsis should state range of project as shown at FAR 36.204. -Between $100,000 and $250,000 Set-Asides must be identified in the synopsis as applicable (FAR 5.207(d): -The proposed contract is set aside for HUBZone small business concerns, Offers from other than HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered. Location of posted solicitation (FAR 5.207(c) (16) & (17): This solicitation will be issued electronically, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Upon release of the solicitation, it will be available on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil and will be listed under ACC-Warren (ACC-WRN) (WVA). CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
