- Description
- This is a notice of intent that AFMC AFSC/PZAAC anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Non-Commercial, Limited Sole Source, Repair Acquisition. This is a Firm-Fixed Price Type Acquisition for the Repair of Load Bank, Electrical. The NSN is: 6150-01-216-2760VX; and the P/N is: 60244-45600-10. This acquisition will consist of a five (5)-year period, which includes the Basic Year, plus Ordering Periods for Four (4) Years. The Grand Total Quantity for all five (5) years combined is 120 Each. The Quantity Breakdown is as follows: Basic Year Quantity = BEQ of 36 Each; Ordering Period I Quantity = BEQ of 36 Each; Ordering Period II Quantity = BEQ of 24 Each; Ordering Period III Quantity = BEQ of 14 Each; and Ordering Period IV Quantity = 10 Each. This acquisition is Limited Sole Source to Delta Metrics (Cage Code: 5FCL9); and to: AAI Corporation (Cage Code: 97384). Delivery is: 45 Calendar Days After Receipt of Order (ARO) or 45 Calendar Days After Receipt of Asset (whichever is later). Early Delivery is acceptable. The issue date for the Solicitation will be approximately 27 May 2014 with a Proposal Due Date of 27 June 2014. The RFP will be issued using electronic procedures which will be posted at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation shall be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the Buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the Contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offerors may contact Ombudsman Ms. Kim McDonald at 478-222-1088.
