- The United States Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005, intends to solicit and negotiate a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) for services with Cost Reimbursable (CR) line items for Travel and Other Direct Costs (ODCs) contract. The period of performance will be a twelve (12) month base period, and two (2) twelve (12) month option periods on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR Sub-Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source to Raytheon Company, Fullerton, CA (DUNS: 859032091, Cage Code: 1TDN2). The proposed action is for Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), Software Engineering Center (SEC) Communications requiring Post Production Software Support (PPSS) and Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) requiring Receiver Transmitter (RT) Hardware Repair services for the Enhanced Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS). The services encompass PPSS program management, software maintenance EPLRS software support, software test bed facility support, system integration and testing, required deliverables, information assurance/certification accreditation implementation, configuration, data management, and replication/distribution installation and training; and RT hardware repair services. The anticipated effort is intended to be Sole Source to Raytheon Company located at 1801 West Hughes Drive, Fullerton, CA 92833. Raytheon is the original manufacturer of the EPLRS Receiver/Transmitter (R/T). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541330 and the Product Service Code (PSC) is R425. A solicitation will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi on or about 12 May 2014.
