- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR LIQUID HYDROGEN TANK TEST FOWARD STRUCTURAL TEST ARTICLE RINGASSEMBLY. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to add an additional drawing that provides the new Proof Load diagram. The attached drawing indicates that loads should be applied at 8 specific locations using lifting straps and addresses changes to the proof test called out on Note 7 of the attached drawing 90M14154. This amendment also answers the questions below: QUESTION 1; The proof test load on Page 1, Note 7 of the drawing (200 Tons) was not consistent with the proof test diagram on page 6 (100 Tons). ANSWER 1; Offeror shall provide a separate itemized cost for the proof load test QUESTION 2; The proof test diagram did not indicate how to attach the proof load weights. ANSWER 2; Proof Load Test shall be witnesses and documented by vendor Quality Control. The due date for receipt of offers is OR is extended to 5 May 2014. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 5 May 2014. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
