- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for commercial software as prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. NSWCCD Philadelphia seeks to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) to WorldViz LLC 27 West Anapamu Street Suite 101-121 Santa Barbara, CA 93101 USA The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for WolrdViz software products, renewal licenses and related documentation and technical support as well as new software procurement. The software slated for purchase under this contract are: WorldViz Vizard Enterprise Edition 3D Software toolkit, WorldViz Vizard Enterprise Edition one year Standard Support/Maintenance. The required period of performance for the software product renewal licenses and related documentation and technical support runs from approximately 1 September 2014 through 1 October 2015. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 511210. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
