- Draft Performance Work Statement This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). 18th Contracting Squadron, Kadena AB, Japan is seeking potential firms who have the skills, experience, knowledge and capabilities required to provide Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at the Ports on Okinawa, to include but not limited to Naha Military Port, Tengan Pier, White Beach, Aja Commercial Port. 18 CONS is requesting capability statements from potential firms which include their ability to provide full S&RTS by providing all personnel, equipment, tools, material, supervision, other items, and services to receive, stage, load, discharge, and disposition cargo from the designated vessel. If you believe your company has the skills, experience, knowledge and capabilities to perform these types of services, please submit the following information: 1. Company name and mailing address 2. Company point of contact 3. Capabilities Statement The above information must be submitted by 1400 hours Japan Standard Time on Tuesday 6 May 2014. Any response to this notice should reference the following: Okinawa S&RTS; FA5270-14-R-0029. All information should be submitted via email. No telephone responses will be accepted. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quote and is not considered a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought Notice. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.
