- Description
- This project is set-aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Businesses. The NAICS code for this project is 115310. The small business size standard is no greater than $ 17.5 million in average annual receipts over the past three years. Only offers from firms that are certified to meet both HUBZone status and the size standard will be considered. You may contact your local U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) office (the federal, not state office) for more information on the HUBZone program. Your local SBA office's contact information may be found by accessing the SBA website (www.sba.gov). This project is for mastication of small trees and shrubs, using low impact track-laying equipment with a chipping or mulching head. The contract time will run concurrently for items 1 and 2 and are estimated at 102 and 105 calendar days, respectively. The project area may be accessed approximately five miles from Nevada City, CA, on State Highway 20 East. The request for quotes package will be uploaded when ready, approximately May 5, 2014. The date of award is expected to be within 14 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments. Please hold any technical questions until after review of the solicitation. The technical contact information will be listed in the solicitation. The purpose of this notice is to meet the FAR 5.201 requirements. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for amendments.
