- Folsom Warehouse and Power Plant Bridge Cranes Load Testing and Certification, Central California Area Office This is a Sources Sought for small businesses capable of performing crane and hoist inspection, repairs, load testing, and certification of two cranes at Folsom Power Plant, California. This notice is being issued to help determine the availability of qualified small businesses technically capable of meeting the Government requirement and to determine the method of acquisition, including whether a small business social-economic set-aside is possible. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals or quotes. No award will be made as a result of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the respondents to this notice. The notice is for research and information purposes only. The North Americal Industry Classificaion System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333923 and the associated small business size standard is 500 employees. All businesses with the capability and availability to perform the requirement under the applicable NAICS code are invited to submit a response to this notice. The information requested is: 1. Company name, address, DUNS number, and point of contact name and email address 2. Business size and small buiness size classification if applicable (e.g. 8(a), HubZone, Veteran Owned, Woman Owned, etc.) 3. Information that would demonstrate that your business has the capability and resources to meet the specifications of the requirement as described in the attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS Attachments are not included.) 5. It is anticipated that all work must be completed by no later than August 29, 2014; therefore please indicate whether your company would be able to meet such a deadline 4. Your intent to submit a quote if a solicitation is issued All responses to this Sources Sought notice shall be submitted electronically (via email) to Laura StJohn at lstjohn@usbr.gov by no later than Wednesday, May 7th at 4:30 p.m. PST.
