- Description
- VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System Request for Information NWIHCS is requesting information on patient monitoring systems for the Omaha facility to meet a potential future need within NWIHCS. This is not a solicitation for purchase. Wireless patient monitoring systems allow VA clinical staff to view multiple patient-induced physiological signals from a remote location in order to more timely and properly respond to patient needs, while maintaining realistic staff numbers. Minimal downtime, usability and the capability to integrate with multiple sensor systems will affect how efficiently VA provides patient care. We are interested in a system that includes bedside monitors, telemetry system and servers that link to our hospital and regional networks. The system should be able to support the current patient load, which means having at least 115 bedside monitors that, at minimum, track electrocardiogram signals (ECG), arterial blood pressures (BP) and arterial oxygen saturation (SPO2). A capability to interface with clinical informatics systems and anesthesia record keeping is required as well. Desired features include the ability to interface with life support systems, such as ventilators and intravenous pumps, and an intra-aortic balloon pressure display. Systems to be integrated: 1.Clinical Informatics System (CIS) a.Philips IntelliSpace Critical Care and Anesthesia 2.Anesthesia Record Keeping (ARK) a.Philips Compurecord ARK 3.Ventilators a.Draeger Evita Infinity V500 b.Maquet Medical Servo-i c.GE Versa Med I Vent 201 d.Philips V60 4.Intravenous Pumps a.Carefusion Alaris PCU 8015 b.Carefusion Alaris 8100 LVP c.Carefusion Alaris PCA 8120 d.Carefusion Alaris V8 8110 e.Iradimed MRI Safe Infusion Pump 3850 f.Iradimed MRI Safe Infusion Pump 3851 g.Belmont FMS 2000 h.Hospira Gemstar Pain Management Pump 13088-01 i.Baxter Syringe Pump 2L3100 Interested parties will need to be available with their products at the Omaha, VA, Building 6 Room 218, on 28 May 2014 from 0800-1200 and 1300-1600, where representatives from NWIHCS will evaluate these products. POC at NWI for questions is Vincent Dang, 402-346-8800, X-4863.
