Description
Sources Sought Notice for notice of intent to solicit for the distribution and supply of medical-grade bulk liquid oxygen to be supplied with tanks to the following three locations for the VA Boston Healthcare System Medical Service: Brockton Division at 940 Belmont St., Brockton, MA 02301-5596; Jamaica Plain Division, 150 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130-4817 and the West Roxbury Division, 1400 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, MA 02132-4927. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, installation, and maintenance for the medical-grade bulk liquid oxygen to be supplied with contractor-owned tanks. This notice is put forth to seek SDVOSBs, VOSB or other small businesses who have the capabilities to fulfill this requirement. The solicitation will be released to supply bulk liquid oxygen at the aforementioned locations for a base plus (4) option years. A pre-solicitation notice will be posted to FedBizOps with a Request for Proposal to follow. Scheduled date/time for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. The applicable NAICS code is 325120 with a 1,000 employee size standard. The FSC/PSC is 6515. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than 3:00pm EST on 5/1/2014. Responses shall be sent to Valerie.DeAngelis@va.gov. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a set-aside or unrestricted procurement. The determination to conduct a set-aside or unrestricted procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Service Disabled and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB and VOSB) contracting with VA are to be registered and certified in VetBiz if seeking consideration under PL 109-461 (www.vetbiz.gov - Vendor Information Pages - VIP). All contractors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (www.samgov).
