Description
Dear Ma'am/Sir, This is a Market Research for the gas supply to service location building 86 Kaiserslautern-Einsiedlerhof and building 742 at Kaiserslautern-Einsiedlerhof and building 3336, Kaiserslautern Military Community Center (KMCC), at Ramstein Air Base effective 01 October 2014. Please be advised that this is not a solicitation for work, nor is it a request for proposal (Reference FAR, Subpart 7.3, Contractor versus Government Performance and OMB Circular A-76). Anticipated contract: Fixed Price. Period of Performance: Basic Period: 01 October 2014 through 30 September 2015 Follow on Year: 01 October 2015 through 30 September 2016 Annual estimated consumption for: Service location building 86 at Kaiserslautern-Einsiedlerhof: 1,550,000 kWh Service location building 742 at Kaiserslautern-Einsiedlerhof: 950,000 kWh Service location building 3336 (KMCC) at Ramstein Air Base: 1,450,000 kWh Other information: The natural gas delivered to the service location building 86 at Kaiserslautern-Einsiedlerhof shall be interruptible. The US Government reserves the right to conduct bi-monthly test firings (3 hours duration) using the standby fuel oil boiler. The natural gas delivered to the service locations building 742 at Kaiserslautern-Einsiedlerhof and building 3336 at Ramstein Air Base shall be continuous.
