- Thank you for your request to participate in the Office of Personnel Management's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Small Business Expo. Due to an overwhelming response, a lottery was conducted to select participants. The vendors selected to participate have been notified. If your company was not chosen to participate, we look forward to seeing you at our Small Business Matchmaking Collaboration in July. The purpose of the Small Business Matchmaking Collaboration is to provide insightful information on how to successfully do business with the government. It is a unique opportunity to listen, learn, and network. Please note that a Special Notice will be posted of Federal Business Opportunity with further details. THIS EVENT IS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES CERTIFIED BY THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA) AS Small Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and Historically Underutilized Business Zone businesses that provides the supplies and services listed below. Large businesses or small businesses without the aforementioned classification will not be allowed to participate. The U.S. Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) is hosting a Small Business Expo. The purpose of the event is to bring together SBA Certified Small Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and Historically Underutilized Business Zone businesses to display their capabilities at vendor booths to our Program Office and Acquisition personnel interested in the supplies and services listed below. Vendors should possess the knowledge, skill and abilities in one of the following categories: ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT AND GENERAL MANAGEMENT CONSULTING SERVICES ALL OTHER PROFESSIONAL, SCIENTIFIC, AND TECHNICAL SERVICES ELECTRONIC COMPUTER MANUFACTURING COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE STORES COMPUTER AND OFFICE MACHINE REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE COMPUTER SYSTEMS DESIGN SERVICES CLAIMS ADJUSTING ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS AND OTHER WIRING INSTALLATION CONTRACTORS OTHER COMPUTER RELATED SERVICES PROFESSIONAL AND MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT TRAINING SOFTWARE PUBLISHERS NOTE: Participation in the Small Business Expo by no means guarantees a Federal contract with OPM nor does if constitute discussions of any upcoming procurement. LOCATION: U.S. Office of Personnel Management Theodore Roosevelt Building 1900 E Street, NW, Ground Floor Lobby Washington, DC 20415 DATE: Wednesday, May 7, 2014 TIME: 8:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. REGISTRATION INFORMATION: All Vendors must register in order to participate. Registration opens at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST), Friday, April 18, 2014 and closes at 4:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Due to space limitations, there are only 28 spaces available for this event. The Federal Business Opportunities notice will be updated when the registration spaces are full. Registration requests must be sent to the OSDBU at Small.business@opm.gov with Small Business Expo in the subject line. Requests that do not contain the aforementioned information will not be considered. Registration requests will NOT be taken by telephone. Registered vendors will receive a confirmation email from the OSDBU which will include security information. You are not confirmed for this event until you receive an email confirmation from the OSDBU. Please provide the following information in your email request: Name: Title: Company Name: Company Address: Telephone Number: Business Website Address: Email Address: DUNS: Primary NAICS: Social Economic Classification: Business Description: i.e. IT related services, Training, Project Management, etc. The Small Business must be a SBA Certified Small Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and Historically Underutilized Business Zone business, at the time of the event that provides aforementioned supplies or services. Socio-economic status will be confirmed before confirmation of your registration. Any change in the firm's socio-economic status must be confirmed before confirmation of your registration. Please ensure that your firm is registered in System for Award Management and your firm's SBA Dynamic Small Business Search profile is updated and complete. Firms are expected to participate at the event for the full duration of 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. NOTE: Registrations emailed prior to the specified date and time will not be accepted.
