- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes and to determine whether to set-aside the requirement for small business concerns for the upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) for: Recyclable Material Collection at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, North Carolina. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the result of this evaluation. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic ROICC Cherry Point, NC is specifically seeking 8(a) Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Women Owned Small Businesses, or other Small Businesses with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capabilities to perform the proposed requirement. The successful contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and other items necessary to provide recyclable material collection services at MCAS Cherry Point NC. All applicable storage, transportation, and disposal requirements of the Federal, State, Local, and DOD hazardous and solid waste statues, regulations, directives and orders must be strictly adhered to when executing this task. All work shall be accomplished with adequate quality controls and review procedures to eliminate conflicts, errors, and omissions. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed sixty (60) months. The Contractor may be required to continue performance for an additional period up to six (6) months under the Option to Extend Services Clause. In either case, the Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 562111, Solid Waste Collection with a size standard $35.5 Million. The requirement is currently under contract N40085-12-C-3901, the incumbent contractor is Republic Services of North Carolina, LLC, a Large Business. The value of this three year contract was $253,523.00; the final year value was $101,340.00. SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS: It is requested any interested Small Businesses capable of providing these services submit to the contracting officer a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, 12 point font minimum) demonstrating the ability to perform the requested services. The capability package must be complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the firm ™s qualifications to perform the defined work. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from the potential sources as a result of this synopsis. The documentation shall address as a minimum the following: COMPANY PROFILE (1) Company name and address; (2) Year the firm was established and number of employees; (3) Names of two principals to contact (including title, telephone and fax number, and email addresses); (4) Small Business designation/status) e.g., 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.); (5) DUNS number; and (6) CAGE code. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE to include experience in performing efforts of similar value, size, and scope within the last three years. The following Government or commercial information shall be provided for each of your references: (1) Contract number and project title; (2) Contracting Officer name, telephone number and email address (3) Contracting Officers Technical Representative (COTR) or primary point of contacts, name, telephone number and email address (4) Indicate whether your firm acted as prime or subcontractor, (5) Contract period of performance (6) Brief summary of work performed and how it relates to the technical services described herein.
