- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 532412. For the purpose of this procurement the small business size standard is $30. million. All offers are to remain valid for a period of 60 days or more. Basis for Award; The Government will award a contract from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Items required are listed below: CLIN Quantity Unit of Issue Description Total Price 0001-AA 1 Ea Forklift Rental for 5 months for use by Communications Engineering and Installation Team assigned to WAFB for install of fiber optics to key C-2 buildings on WAFB 0002-AA 1 Ea Backhoe Rental for 5 months for use by Communications Engineering and Installation Team assigned to WAFB for install of fiber optics to key C-2 buildings on WAFB 0003-AA 1 Ea Delivery *Period of performance will be five months. The approximate dates are 12 May 2014 through 12 Oct 2014 but may vary at no additonal cost to the Government.
