Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base and two option periods to The Boeing Company of St. Louis, Missouri 63134 for the procurement of post full rate production (FRP) follow on support and technical services that will assist in assessing and extending the life of the F/A-18E/F including but not limited to Service Life Assessment and Extension Programs (SLAP/SLEP), multiple fleet teardowns, flight support, and other SLAP/SLEP-related efforts as determined by the Navy. These requirements will be procured on a sole source basis. The period of performance for this IDIQ contract will be for a period of twelve months for the base and twelve months for each of the option periods. The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the F/A-18A-D, F/A-18E/F, and EA-18G aircraft in its various configurations and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary to accomplish this effort. Any interested party must have the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary accomplish this effort within schedule requirements. Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate respondent's ability to perform to the Government's needs within the required response time.
