Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) has a requirement for two (2) Primary Care physicians with services to be performed at the Oscar G. Johnson VAMC located in Iron Mountain, MI. The physicians shall be Board Certified/Board Eligible with specialty in Family Practice or Internal Medicine. All positions shall be strictly outpatient work and are on a Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm shift. No Holiday, weekend or on-call hours are required. Occasional overtime may be required. Prior VA experience is preferred. Current DEA license is required. High degree of competency/skills with Computer Based patient record systems is a MUST. Physicians shall see 10-15 patients daily with a staff of 2 additional Full Time Primary Care Physicians (PcP) and 2 Part Time PcPs. There will be the possibility of multiple awards. This will be a Firm, Fixed unit price contract with a fixed hourly cost under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 621111, size standard $10.0 million. This solicitation shall be unrestricted and open to all responsible offerors with current government registration at www.sam.gov The period of performance for each shall be one year with an expected start date in July of 2014. This requirement is being solicited under the authority of Public Law 104-262 and 38 U.S.C. 8153. Electronic version of the solicitation is expected to be available on www.fbo.gov on or before April 30, 2014. Any amendments to this solicitation will also be available at this address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
