Item 0001: NOUN: Remanufacture F108 Low Pressure Turbine Shaft Assembly Module 14; Input NSN: 2840-01-189-2941PN, P/N: 301-316-158-0 BEQ as follows: 121 EA Basic Year; 125 EA OPT I; 121 EA OPT II; 121 EA OPT III; 122 EA OPT IV; 61 EA 6-Month Extension MIN as follows: 20 EA Basic Year; 20 EA OPT I; 20 EA OPT II; 20 EA OPT III; 20 EA OPT IV; 10 EA 6-Month Extension MAX as follows: 135 EA Basic Year; 139 EA OPT I; 135 EA OPT II; 135 EA OPT III; 136 OPT IV; 68 EA 6-Month Extension Applicable to the F108 Engine on the KC-135; Destination: Tinker Air Force Base, OK 73145. Item 0002: Over & Above Item 0003: AFMC Form 413Depot Production Maintenance Report required IAW DD Form 1423-1. Item 0004: Comprehensive Engine Management System (CEMS) Report IAW DD Form 1423-1. Item 0005: Commercial Asset Visibility of Assets Data Reporting required IAW DD Form 1423-1. Item 0006: Interim Contractor Support (ICS) required IAW DD Form 1423-1. Item 0007: Report of Shipping & Packaging Discrepancy required IAW DD Form 1423-1 Item 0008: Teardown Deficiency Report required IAW DD Form 1423-1 Description: MOD 14 is part of the Low Pressure Turbine (LPT) module of the F108 engine. The LPT converts hot gas pressure and velocity into mechanical power to propel the fan rotor and booster assembly. Delivery: Item 0001: 12 EA per month 21 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets; Item 0002: Over & Above; Item 0003: IAW DD Form 1423; Item 0004: IAW DD Form 1423; Item 0005: IAW DD Form 1423; 0006: IAW DD Form 1423; Item 0007: IAW DD Form 1423; Item 0008: IAW DD Form 1423 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Qualification requirements are available for this acquisition. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOpps at http://www.fbo.gov. Approved sources are CFM International, Cincinnati, OH; GE Engine Services, Cincinnati, OH, Snecma, Chatellerault, France; Chromalloy Component Services, San Antonio, TX; Propulsion Technology Corporation, Miramar, Florida All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award IAW FAR clause 52.209-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.
