CLASSIFICATION CODE: Q - Medical Services; (Q507) NAICS CODE: 621 - Ambulatory Health Care Services; Network-9 Contracting Office on the behalf of the Robley Rex VA Medical Center has developed this Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice to solicit market research information from the healthcare industry to assist the Government with analysis of a Government requirement and provide commercial insight on performance-based solutions, best practices, possible contractual arrangements, and potential issues. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. It is not a Request for Proposal, a Request for Quotation, an Invitation for Bids, a Solicitation, or an indication that Network-9 Contracting Office (NCO-9) will contract for the items contained in the RFI / Sources Sought Notice. This RFI/Sources Sought Notice is part of a Government market research effort to determine the scope of industry capabilities and interest, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.201(e), response to this RFI / Sources Sought Notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responses to this RFI / Sources Sought Notice are strictly voluntary and are consider as information only. The Government will not pay respondents for information provided in response to this RFI / Sources Sought Notice. Responses to this RFI / Sources Sought Notice will not be returned and respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Federal Business Opportunities Website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from any response to this announcement. This RFI / Sources Sought Notice does not restrict the Government's acquisition on a future solicitation. Network-9 Contracting Office (NCO-9) and Robley Rex VA Medical Center is conducting market research for a Contractor(s) to provide mammography services, (composed of screening direct digital mammograms, bilateral with interpretation (CPT code G0202); diagnostic direct digital mammograms, bilateral (CPT code 0204); diagnostic direct digital mammograms, unilateral (CPT code G0206), and breast ultrasounds (CPT code 76645)), for beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Robley Rex VA Medical Center, Department of Radiology, 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky 40206. All exams shall be under the direction of radiologists meeting the American College of Radiology Mammography Accreditation criteria. The Contractor shall provide typed reports of the findings and have films available for review by VA physicians for follow-up care. The contractor shall provide appointment times to meet the workload demand within two (2) weeks of the request. The contractor's facility shall meet and maintain ACR Mammography Accreditation. Network Contracting Office 9 and Robley Rex VA Medical Center appreciate your recommendations based on best practices on how to structure a firm-fix-price contract for these healthcare services. ?
