- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued. Quotes/proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number AG-8508-S-14-0011 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 327390 and the small business size standard is 500. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. This is a Brand Name or Equal procurement. The referenced brand names are not intended to be restrictive, but represent the minimum requirements of the Government. The salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics must be met in order for "equal" item to be acceptable for award by the Government. CLIN 1: Double Vault Cascadian Style Concrete Toilet Building including delivery, excavation, vault installation and setting of building and a Touch-up Paint kit, Quantity: 1 Each, Unit Price:__________________________ Total Price:_________________________ See attached documents for: *Salient characteristics that are deemed essential for meeting the Government needs. *Delivery Maps/Directions This project consists of providing one commercially available precast concrete toilet building with delivery and installation including construction activities at the Silver Lake Campground along the Snowy Range Scenic Byway (State Highway 130) approximately 25 miles from Saratoga, Wyoming. Delivery and work at site are expected by July 28, 2014. The double vault toilet will be located at the top of the campground loop. The precast concrete toilet building shall be a double-unit design with CLIN 1 being similar to the "Double Cascadian Toilet with Standard Features" manufactured by CXT Precast Products, Inc. manufactured by CXT or an approved equal. The Contractor will furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. Offerors shall include prices, a complete description of the item being provided and descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet this requirement. Only written responses will be considered. The provision "52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items", applies to this acquisition. Award will be made on the basis of lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Offers should submit flyers, brochures, or other technical data about the items being offered to demonstrate and document conformance with the Government's specifications.
