Description
Survey THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for a HVAC Program at the Federal Prison Camp located in Pensacola, Florida. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes is 611210 (Size Standard: 19.0 Million). The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The Contractor must be accredited by a recognized accrediting agency. The occupational education program must fall under the provider's umbrella of accreditation and lead to transferrable credits resulting in a college certificate. The Contractor must have the ability to work with an inmate population from a variety of cultural, regional, racial, and ethnic backgrounds. The contract shall be for a year. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Research Questionnaire will be available on or about May 5, 2014, and will be distributed solely through General Services Administration, Federal Business Opportunities' website at www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for the questionnaire is May 12, 2014. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone request or written requests for the questionnaire will be accepted. All responses to the Market Research Questionnaire may be submitted in hard copy to U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Prison Camp, 110 Raby Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32509, Attn: Rodney Fant, Procurement and Property Specialist. The questionnaire may also be faxed to (850) 458-7290, (Attn: Rodney Fant) or e-mailed to rfant@bop.gov.
