- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure the following on a sole source basis from MAK Technologies, Inc., 150 Cambridgepark Drive, 3rd Floor, Cambridge, MA 02140-2328: Qty. 1- MAK RTI Protection Plan Maintenance, Part RTI-STL-MN Qty. 1-Port Renewal-RTI on RHEL5 g++4.1, Part MAK-PORT PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE- 12 Months 30 September 2014 - 29 September 2015 These products are proprietary to VT MAK and interested vendors must provide proof that they are an authorized re-seller/distributor of VT MAK in order to be considered eligible for an award. Only the products identified above will be accepted; deviations will not be accepted. The order shall be firm fixed priced. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The synopsis number is N00178-14-Q-4385 and is a Request for Quote. Quotes should be submitted by 12:00 noon on 8 May 2014 to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6146 Tisdale Road, Suite 235, Bldg 492, Dahlgren Virginia 22448-5158. If applicable the quote should include any shipping/freight costs for FOB Destination to Combat Direction Systems Activity, Dam Neck, 1922 Regulus Avenue, Building 127S, Attn: Ken Saunders, Code F21, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov.
