- AMENDMENT NO. 1 REVISED RESPONSE PACKET REVISED RFQ ATTENTION: SITE VISIT SCHEDULED FOR MAY 15, 2014, 11:00 A.M., STRAYHORSE ADMINISTRATION SITE (on US HWY 191, 30 miles south of Alpine, AZ 85920), PLEASE RSVP TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. AMENDMENT NO. 1 - REVISED STATEMENT OF WORK - CLOSING DATE EXTENDED TO JUNE 12, 2014. The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Clifton Ranger District, has requirement to constructing new Electrical hookups from existing generator and/or solar system to recently installed crew quarters housing at Strayhorse Administration Site. This work may include electrical and solar upgrades (possibly new solar batteries). All of this work is covered under the Davis-Bacon Act. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract under the Request For Quotation (RFQ) format. The estimated range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required of the awarded contractor. Bid Bonds are NOT required. The project is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small Business size standard is $14.0 Million under NAICS code 238210. The solicitation packages, plans, and specifications will be made available ON or AFTER APRIL 29, 2014, and will be posted at http://www.fbo.gov. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, Contractors shall be registered in System for Award Management (https://www.sam.gov ) in order to remain in the competitive range. No Telephone requests for solicitation packages will be accepted. Vendors may request printed copy of the solicitation package by email to: wabbott@fs.fed.us. The Contracting Officer will accept electronic responses to the solicitation by email to: wabbott@fs.fed.us The electronic response must contain the same required documentation a paper response would. Electronic responses must be received before the deadline listed below for the Closing Date and Time. A Site Visit/Pre-Quote meeting will not be scheduled. Requests to visit the site may be made in writing by email to the Contracting Officer: wabbott@fs.fed.us. Questions on the project may be addressed in writing to the Contracting Officer, by email: wabbott@fs.fed.us through May 5, 2014, after which no further questions will be accepted. The Closing Date and Time for responses to the RFQ shall be JUNE 12, 2014, 4:30 pm local time (MST).
