- W912P8-12-B-0044 - Calcasieu River and Pass, LA, Maintenance Dredging, Mile 5.0 to Mile 15.0, Including Beneficial Use Within CWPRAA Sabine Cycles 4 and 5 Sites, Calcasieu and Cameron Parishes, LA (ED-14-011) The work consists of removal of material from within the Calcasieu River Ship Channel and satisfactory disposal of material within the CWPRAA Sabine National Wildlife Refuge Cycles 4 & 5 or the upland disposal areas adjacent to the Calcasieu River and Pass, depicted on the plans, and all operations incidental thereto including dike construction. Potential additional Option reach(s) of dredging and associated disposal are also included in this solicitation. Potential bidders should note that disposal within the Sabine National Wildlife Refuge mandates the use of the existing permanent disposal pipeline located at approximate mile 13.3 of the Calcasieu River. The estimated value of this work is between $15,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 5, 2014, and a bid opening date will be established in a full solicitation. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. NAICS Code: 237990.
