CONTACT INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND WITHIN THE BODY OF THIS ANNOUNCMENT. ****** NASA/MSFC has a requirement for the annual renewal of Concepts-NREC Agile Products suite of integrated turbomachinery design software. 1.NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from Concepts NREC for the Concepts-NREC Agile Products Support (APS) and license renewal and/or upgrade for the following integrated turbomachinery design software: AxCentTM, AXIALTM, ASME, AXISTRESSTM, DBR, PUMPALTM, Pushbutton CFD, STRESSPREPTM, EASy! ControlTM, TurboOpt II Base Module, CAD TranslatorTM. MSFC currently owns the Concepts-NREC Agile Products suite of integrated turbomachinery design software and has for over 12 years. Maintenance and support for this software needs to be maintained. Market research indicates that the Agile Products and all maintenance related thereto are available solely through the product manufacturer, Concepts-NREC. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 4:30 p.m. local time on May 12, 2014. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
