- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, plans to solicit for a construction contract for maintenance dredging at Kewaunee and Manitowoc Harbors, Wisconsin. The work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: Mobilize dredge to Manitowoc Harbor, WI and dredge required areas, place the dredged materials in the Manitowoc Confined Disposal Facility (CDF). Mobilize dredge to Kewaunee Harbor, WI and dredge the required areas, place the dredge materials in the Kewaunee Confined Disposal Facility. Redistribute existing CDF materials within the Kewaunee CDF and demobilize when work is complete. General Information: This project is set aside for small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 237990. The small business size standard for this requirement is $25.5 million. The estimated cost of construction is between $1 million and $5 million. The solicitation is expected to be available in May 2014. A contract award is expected in July 2014.
