- DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: Contractor(s) shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools and incidentals necessary to perform Routine Systemic Road Maintenance for the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests, Virginia. LOCATION OF WORK: District 1: Clinch Ranger District (Wise, VA) - Virginia Counties: Dickenson, Lee, Scott, Wise Kentucky Counties: Letcher, Pike District 2: Eastern Divide Ranger District (Blacksburg, VA) - Virginia Counties: Bland, Botetourt, Craig, Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski, Roanoke, Tazewell, Wythe West Virginia Counties: Monroe District 3: Glenwood-Pedlar Ranger District (Natural Bridge Station, VA) - Virginia Counties: Amherst, Augusta, Bedford, Botetourt, Nelson, Rockbridge, District 4: James River Ranger District (Covington, VA) - Virginia Counties: Alleghany, Botetourt, Rockbridge West Virginia Counties: Monroe District 5: Lee Ranger District (Edinburg, VA) - Virginia Counties: Frederick, Page, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Warren West Virginia Counties: Hampshire, Hardy District 6: Mount Rogers National Recreation Area (Marion, VA) - Virginia Counties: Bland, Carroll, Grayson, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, Wythe District 7: North River Ranger District (Harrisonburg, VA) - Virginia Counties: Augusta, Bath, Highland, Rockbridge, Rockingham West Virginia Counties: Pendleton District 8: Warm Springs Ranger District (Hot Springs, VA) - Virginia Counties: Bath, Highland PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING: Will be held in the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests' Supervisor's Office, 5162 Valleypointe Parkway, Roanoke, VA on May 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Contract time will be 365 calendar days from the award date of contract; there will be two additional calendar option years possible with award of this procurement. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (http://www.sam.gov) in order to receive award of a contract. SET-ASIDE: 100% Small Business Set-Aside. BONDING INFORMATION: Bonds are not required. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: Request for Proposals AG-3395-S-14-0012 and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps and will be available for downloading on or around, at the website address: http://www.fbo.gov. All potential contractors and subcontractors should register on the FedBizOpps website as an Interested Vendor. The online Interested Vendors list will be the only such list maintained for this procurement. All responsible sources are welcomed to submit a proposal. RESPONSES DUE DATE has been changed to June 6, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. EST.
