Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number VA246-14-Q-0678 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72 effective 30 Jan 2014. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside and the associated NAICS Code for this combined synopsis/solicitation is 332410 with a Size Standard 500 Employees. The CLINS associated with this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation: CLIN 0001: Steam/Water Double Wall Hot Water Generator Qty: 1 U/I Each, CLIN 0002: 3' 1.5 HP Circulator Pump Qty: 1 U/I Each, CLIN 0003: 1.5' NPT 1/3 HP Circulator Pump Qty: 1 U/I Each. For extended descriptions/salient characteristics/ minimum needs please refer to the attached. Items shall be delivered within 90 days ARO to W.G. Bill Hefner Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 1601 Brenner Ave., Salisbury, NC 27144. The FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, VAAR Provision 852.273-72 Alternative Evaluation, FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, and FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. Please see attached for additional applicable terms and conditions which govern this action. Offerors shall submit their responses by no later than 08:00AM, 09May2014. Offers will only be accepted via E-mail to Keith Hunter (Spt-Ktr) at keith.hunter@va.gov. Electronic documents shall be submitted in.pdf,.doc, or.xls and restricted to emails of less than less than 10MB as that is maximum single email size allowable. Communication containing documents in any other format may be blocked or stripped by the Government's server and may not be received by this office.
