- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Mission Installation Contracting Command at Fort Gordon intends to solicit a follow-on contract for Base Operations Support Services on the Gillem Enclave in Forrest Park, GA. Please note that the current contract under which these services are provided was awarded under the Small Business Administration (SBA) HUBZone program and it is the Government's intent to award the follow-on contract under the HUBZone program. The primary type of work will include operations and maintenance facilities support services under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561210. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $35.5 million average annual revenue for the last three fiscal years. Work under this requirement shall provide the management, administration, supplies, materials and labor necessary to perform the installation Public Works Support mission for Gillem Enclave, Georgia. Support functions include: Operations and Maintenance of Facilities, Boiler/Chiller Operations, Monitor and maintain existing Utilities Monitoring and Control System (UMCS), Water Treatments, HVAC Maintenance and supporting systems such as components, Installed Building Equipment (IBE), and similar HVAC/Utility supporting peripherals, Facility and Equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM), Electronic Equipment Maintenance Services (such as fire alarms, fire detection devices and other such electronic equipment), Locksmith Services, Work Reception, Special Events and/or Unique Requirements Support, litter pickup, General Real Property Maintenance, Pest Management and Entomology Services and Grass Cutting and Grounds Maintenance. Refuse collection-disposal, Recycling program, Operation and Cleaning of Grease Pits/Traps quote mark and Drainage Structures and Spillways. Any interested sources are requested to provide a brief capabilities statement and letter of interest to Suzanne Hunt via e-mail at suzanne.w.hunt2.civ@mail.mil and Jason King via e-mail jason.l.king1.civ@mail.mil no later than 1:00 EST, Wednesday, 14 May 2014. Any response to this sources sought must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. As part of your capabilities statement, please include any current or past contracts you have been awarded or the ability to obtain sufficient proof of capability for this type/magnitude of contract. In addition, you must include a statement of what socio-economic category your company qualifies as (i.e. a Small Business, SBA Certified HUB-Zone Firm, SBA Certified Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, etc.) No solicitation will be released for competition from this announcement, and no reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this announcement. No contract will be awarded on a basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. No solicitation document is available and telephones requests for technical information will not be honored. Any information provided is strictly voluntary.
